Producer between Brazil and Galicia. Believes that, between fiction and non-fiction, everything is cinema.
SABRINA ZIMMERMANN
He works with a vision that moves between territories, good stories and affections. He is interested in projects that start from the personal to touch on the political, and in cinema as a place of encounter and transformation.
She currently lives in Spain and is a partner in the production company Filmes de Pedra, where she produced the short film A Comuñón da Miña Prima Andrea (2021), directed by Brandán Cerviño. The film was distributed by Marvin & Wayne, selected in more than 45 festivals — including IDFA and Hot Docs — and won the award for Best Short Film at the 52nd edition of Visions du Réel, where it had its premiere.
She continues to develop projects in Brazil, between São Paulo and her hometown, Chapecó. There, she produced her first feature film, Queremo Róque! (2021), directed by Jivago Del Claro, shown at the 1st Chapecó National Film Festival and the 14th In-Edit Brasil. She is also the producer of the feature film Carcereiras, by São Paulo director Julia Hannud, selected for Cannes Docs and scheduled to premiere in 2025.
With lines that come to life and visual narratives full of personality, he transforms imaginary worlds into films.
CADU ZIMMERMANN
Producer and executive producer focused on animated cinema.
Filmmaker, graduated in Animation Cinema from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), works in the direction, production and executive production of animated short films, exploring innovative narratives and visual experiments. His portfolio includes several short films, among them: "Tic Tac Bang" (2022), 2D animation; "A Mina de Quimera" (2023), which premiered at the International Border Festival of Bagé - RS, a 3D animation and "Matinta Pereira: A Maldição do Fumo" (2023), a stop motion production.
Cadu currently works as director, producer and executive producer of the 3D animated short film "Pico de Ballmer", funded by the Paulo Gustavo Law of Pelotas - RS, which is in post-production. He is also co-director and producer of the short film "Pelotas: Sombras Históricas", a 2D animation funded by the Procultura Pelotas public notice, which is in pre-production. He is currently working on the finalization of "Pico de Ballmer" as his Final Project for the Practical Course in the Animation Film course at UFPel.
